Lajoieway is the first family-focused private car service in the Paris region, founded by a parent for parents. Our specialty: every ride includes free age-appropriate car seats (infant carrier, toddler seat, booster) in spacious vehicles. We cover airport transfers (CDG, Orly, Beauvais), Disneyland Paris trips, long-distance routes and maternity hospital pickups.

The Co-Founders
Lajoieway was co-founded in 2019 by Anna Waddey and Paul Lajoie. The idea was born from a lived experience: Anna was returning from a trip to the airport with her young son and could not find a single taxi or private car that would take them home safely — with a car seat. She went home holding her child in her arms. Looking into it with Paul, the couple discovered that this wasn't an exception but the norm in France: taxis are legally exempt from the child car seat requirement, private cars almost never carry one, and no ride-hailing app (Uber, Bolt, Heetch, FreeNow) guarantees one. From that shared conviction — no family should ever have to compromise on their children's safety just to get from A to B — Lajoieway was born.

Paul Lajoie
Co-founder of Lajoieway
After realising there was no safe family transport solution available in Paris, Paul structured Lajoieway as a company: fleet, trained drivers, certified car seats, fixed prices. His role is to make standard what should always be standard.
